Just uploaded a LOAD of swatches, from both weeks so far. And thanks for posting pictures of what the shadowbox is supposed to look like, that's all I really needed to get mine right. :D Years of playing with string but never really using patterns has come to roost! I posted some photos of swatches four and six...but the count on the shadow box was not working out for me. I go wrong somewhere in Row 2. I am going to try to piece it together again tonight, and hope I figure it out. :) and I fibbed earlier, because I used acrylic for these swatches (I just had to make something with that pale yellow/pale blue/grey combo)...also, not a swatch, but I *did* use the front post instructions to figure out a simple cable (which is dressed up in color changes). So thanks for those instructions!!!! Hi there! I posted some photos of swatches four and six…but the count on the shadow box was not working out for me. I go wrong somewhere in Row 2. I went with cotton, too, so I have two nice dishcloths. The third swatch was too small...maybe I'll join some together later. My favorite was the Waffle Stitch. Thanks for the first swatches. Just what I needed! Instructions for the front post...this means I can figure out how to make cables for the front panel of my new bag!!!! YAY! Thank you!!! Will post photos soon (one of the benefits of being temporarily retired is that I can start on projects like this right away :D). And Dawb - I'm using cotton too - it really shows the stitch detail nicely (and it'll be SO soft once washed!). Sweet!!! Just what I needed!
